Lessons

Lessons For All Levels

PIANO

Piano lessons for students aged 4 – 90+ years,
beginning level through advanced. Our instructors have advanced degrees in performance and are experienced teachers who love what they do.

We tailor our lessons to the learning style and goals of the students. We use a conservatory level program that is well-rounded and gives the student the important foundation they need, building the skills to enjoy their favorite style of music. They can also carry this knowledge into learning other instruments and creating their own compositions.

STRINGS

Violin, Viola and Cello lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. Our violin curriculum is extensive, with a signature preschool paper violin program called Try Twinkle!, developed by our Head of Strings, Erin Boyette. Students may also enroll for either Suzuki or traditional lessons.

Traditional Cello lessons are offered beginning at age 4 and up. Our instructors are very passionate about connecting with students to create a genuine love for their instrument of choice and giving them a lifelong opportunity to make music.

VOICE

Voice lessons for students aged 8 and up, any skill level, anyone who would like to learn to sing. Our vocal program with strong fundamentals in classical technique includes everything from learning to enjoy singing in a group to preparing auditions, singing as a soloist and more.

Singing is a powerful tool for boosting self confidence and self expression. You will be paired with a professional coach who will adapt your lessons according to your personal goals, whether for your child or for you.

coaching for actors

We can accommodate requests for our teachers to coach actors and actresses preparing for upcoming roles to act as hand-doubles for characters playing musicians in movies, acting as musician in commercials, teach a music lesson as part of a corporate or promotional video, provide lessons to pop performers who need to sharpen up their skills, accompany instrumentalists who just want to practice their ensemble playing, and other scenarios. This is available in all the categories of piano, violin, viola, cello, base and voice!

advanced & college prep lessons

Advanced Lessons are also available for musicians who want to return to lessons after they have not played for a while, non-music major college music students – and – just for the joy of it!!
Our students include accountants, executives, personal trainers, figure skaters, artists, lawyers, surgeons, air traffic controllers, realtors, retirees – anyone can enjoy music.

College prep lessons are intended to prepare the serious piano student for college auditions at specific undergraduate programs. These lessons are very focused and intensive, and may require the repertoire to be prepared months in advance.

what people say

All piano lessons are tailored to the individual student, according to age, experience, learning style and personality.

Music has taught me more things at once than any other subject I've studied. It's a big part of who I am.
From Jessie
The piano is an instrument you can use for jazz, blues, classical and almost any kind of music, and I love learning to play it
From Amar
Playing the piano is a life skill. Although I have been teaching for over 25 years and playing longer, I still ask my teachers for advice and ways to improve.
